Hoosiers Rise: Hundreds Pledge in 70 Counties as Save Heritage Indiana Launches to Protect State's Heritage

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — In just three days, a new statewide organization, Save Heritage Indiana, has surged across the state - with over 500 pledges and supporters now in 70 of Indiana's 92 counties. Thousands have followed online since its launch Thursday, signaling a fast-growing grassroots effort to end and reverse mass migration in Indiana.

"Our home is worth defending," said Nathan Roberts, co-founder of Save Heritage Indiana. "This isn't about anger - it's about love of home. We're organizing county by county so our children inherit an Indiana we recognize."

The group's mission is straightforward: to end and reverse mass migration and preserve Indiana's heritage. Supporters sign a pledge - "I commit to only vote for leaders who will end mass migration" - and are invited to take action in their own communities.

Through its Recruit, Train, Deploy "Battle Plan," Save Heritage Indiana is building county chapters, teaching leadership and organizing skills, and mobilizing volunteers to push for practical state reforms such as:

  • Universal E-Verify
  • Remittance taxes and
  • English only driving tests

"The small towns we grew up in are being destroyed. We didn't vote for this," said Daniel Poynter, co-founder. "Hoosiers are paying the price. Taxpayers spend more teaching English to school children than we do on mental health. This movement is about restoring fairness for workers, law and order in our communities, and protecting what we've inherited from our grandparents."

Save Heritage Indiana has already received endorsements from Indiana's Lieutenant Governor and multiple state representatives.

Save Heritage Indiana's founders are no strangers to successful organizing. One previous statewide effort grew to 7,000 supporters and 500 monthly donors. Now, they aim to make Indiana the national model for strong policies that protect Hoosiers.
